The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) developed for the B.Tech Information Technology (IT) are:
- To utilize the expertise of the graduates in engineering to solve industry’s technological problems.
- To nurture the graduates to be innovators in technology development, technology deployment and system implementation.
- To train graduates to be the leaders in engineering, engineering management, applied research and education.

- Typically start as development engineer and gradually moves on to higher career options as architects, technical leaders and managers
