M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering)
M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) is a technical Post Graduate course which is to develop and inculcate the research potential of the students, who were having the technical expertise in graduate level. The trained postgraduates can serve as project managers, leaders, system architects in the industry and as educationists in institutions as well as universities. M.Tech CSE is a two-year full-time course. There have been a lot of publications by the M.Tech students of the department in National/International journals and conferences. Department organizes various seminars, conferences, guest lectures, invited talks and workshops for postgraduate students to learn technical skills which help them to recuperate their research work.

The Technical postgraduate scholars with Computer Science and Engineering specialization will be able to:
1. Apply the advanced knowledge of Computer science engineering with expertise in Mathematical concepts, Soft computing, Neural Networks, Wireless Computing and Advanced database Management Systems.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have the qualifying degree as a regular student from any university recognized by UGC / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks (47.5% marks in the case of SC/ST) in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates with a valid GATE score.
1st Preference:
B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Technology / Information Technology.
2nd Preference:
B.E. / B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
3rd Preference:
MCA / M. Sc. (Computer Science) / M. Sc (I.T), / M. Sc. (Software Engineering) /M. Sc. (Maths) / M. Sc. (Physics).
