M-Pharmacy
Master of Pharmacy is a Post Graduate Degree awarded for a program in the field of Pharmacy. It is also called M.Pharm. The program duration is two years. The course offers many practical elements like instrumental techniques, research methodologies, new areas, pharmacy-based operations, etc. The aspirants who need exposure to pharmacy can study the M.Pharm program. In the first year, the Program covers theoretical and practical sessions in the subjects – molecular pharmacology, general pathophysiology, pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics I and II, clinical research methodologies, advanced pharmaceutical methods of analysis, drug regulatory affairs, quality assurance, biostatistics and other subjects. In second year of the program, students take up several projects that are aimed at developing and exploring novel receptor targets and mechanisms for drug action in the pathophysiological stages of the disease.
After the program, the aspirants may get a chance to go and work in foreign nations. Once a candidate finishes the M.Pharm program, they can go for advanced studies such as PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmachemistry, etc.
M.Pharm program offers chances to gain practical skills. The candidates can improve their communication skills and confidence after the program. The program covers many specializations. Aspirants can choose any of the specialization based on their preference.
Eligibility Criteria:
Pharmacy with at least 50% marks in aggregate or, any other examination recognized by Pt B.D Sharma University, Rohtak as equivalent thereto, and must possess a valid GPAT score. In case GPAT qualified students are not available, the seats will be open to the other candidates on the merit basis, on the basis of aggregate score of B. Pharmacy.

9. Students who belong to minority community must mention their category (Muslim, Sikh,
Jain, Persian, Christian, Buddhist, etc.)
