Department of Mechanical Engineering
Commonly, known as the mother of all branches, Department of Mechanical Engineering is the discipline that applies the ideology of engineering, physics and material sciences for the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. The responsibility of a mechanical engineer is to take a product from a proposal to the marketplace. In order to accomplish this, the mechanical engineer needs to acquire particular skills and knowledge. One needs to be aware of the forces and the thermal surroundings that a product, its parts, or its subsystems will encounter; to determine the best way to produce them and ensure they will operate without failure.
