ADMISSION TO PHARMACY COURSES

Applications are invited for admission to B. Pharma, B. Pharma (LEET) and M. Pharma (DRA) Course at Advanced Institute of Pharmacy, Palwal affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma Univeristy of Health Sciences, Rohtak and approved by Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE.

Last Date to receive the Application Display of Merit List & Physical Counseling
1st Counseling: 07.07.2016 08.07.2016
2nd Counseling: 12.08.2016 (9:00 am) 12.08.2016 (9:00 am Onwards)

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

B-Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

1 )Candidate should attain the age of 17 years or more on 31st December of the year of admission. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Secondary           school or its equivalent examination certificate.

2) Candidate must fulfill following conditions:-

a) Must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana/CBSE, Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent t                                thereto with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Computer science/Biotechnology taken together and must have also passed all the                                subjects individually.

b)In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Backward Class/Special Backward Class 40% marks are required.

3)Candidates passing qualifying examination from National Open School shall not be eligible.

Pharmacy (Through LEET)

1)Candidate should attain the age of 18 years or more on 31st December of the year of admission. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Secondary school or its equivalent examination certificate.

2)Candidate must fulfill following conditions:-

a) Must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least                        45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Computer science/Biotechnology taken together and must have also passed all the subjects individually.

b)Must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy Examination (D. Pharm) from a PCI recognized institute with at least 50% marks.

c) In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Backward Class and Special Backward Class 40% marks in 10+2 & 45% marks in D. Pharmacy                      are required.

d) Candidates passing 10+2 examination from National Open School shall not be eligible.

M-Pharmacy  (Master of Pharmacy)

1)Candidate must attain the age of minimum 21 years on 31st December of the year of admission. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary or its equivalent certificate.

2)Candidate must have passed following examinations:

a) Candidate should have passed B. Pharm. from AICTE approved institution, with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/BC/SBC) aggregate marks.

b) Candidate having passed GPAT with valid GPAT score will be preferred and will get fellowship from AICTE (earlier GPAT was known as GATE).

3)Candidate shall be medically fit.

4)Candidate shall be a citizen of India.

5)The admission shall be made on the basis of the MERIT prepared from the valid GPAT score for fellowship from AICTE. Vacant

6)Seats, if any will be filled as per clause (2) (a) above as per method of admission under chapter 6.

7)Candidates must submit the proof of VALID GPAT SCORE for getting fellowship from AICTE and having passed the qualifying examination i.e. B. Pharmacy, at the time of counseling.

 

All the eligible candidates should submit their applications along with the photocopies of certificates and testimonials to The Registrar, Advanced Institute of Pharmacy, 70 km, NH-2, Delhi-Mathura Road,  Palwal – 121105 through post or personally.  Alternatively, the candidates may also submit their application on-line at www.advanced.edu.in.

All the admitted candidates would be required to pay full fees within two days of the physical Reporting, failing which their admission will be cancelled automatically.
