The four-year graduate course with a B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) specialization that grooms the students into technocrats. This course focuses on the training of the computer professionals as industry ready by imparting in-depth knowledge to students and organizes workshops, seminars, conferences etc. to abreast them with latest trends in technology. The course is designed to bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing an expert understanding of concept and implementation. Students will study Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Wireless Communication, Advanced Java and many other subjects of Computer Science to utilise the ideas for the development of industry oriented projects.

Program Educational Objectives / Core Modules:

1. Students will be exposed to Internal Computer Architecture and its Applications while studying Computer Science and Engineering.
2. They will learn about Procedural and Object Oriented Programming Languages which they use to code for making software.
3. They will become industry ready in software and hardware fields through technical workshops and industrial visits during the course.
4. They will be taught technology development, technology deployment and system implementation.
5. They will be trained to become leaders in engineering, engineering management, applied research, and education.
6. They will learn about multimedia, computer graphics and web designing.

Computers have become an indispensable part of human life due to which computer science branch is an exponentially growing stream in the digital world. Computer science field not only grooms research scientists who are passionate about invention and novel design of new technology but also fresh computer graduates for booming IT industry. Big Data, Cloud Computing, Digital Marketing, Social Web Development, Mobile App Development and Online Transactions are some of the upcoming fields in computer science which gives a plenty of options for the posterity. Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the four subjects:
(i) Chemistry
(ii) Computer Science/Information Science
(iii) Bio-technology
(iv) Biology.
Admission to four-year B.Tech. courses are made on the basis of the merit of AIEEE and the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate of 03 subjects including Physics and Mathematics.

B.Tech. (A three-year program through the Lateral Engineering Entry Test)
The candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course with the minimum duration of three years from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 45% in aggregate of all semesters in any branch mentioned in the Admission Brochure issued by HSCS. The candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics securing 45% marks are also eligible. 5. Copy of Allotment Letter Issued by HSCS
6. Proof of Deposition of Registration Fee (Rs. 500)
7. AIEEE Admit Card and Score Card
8. Proof of Residence in case of reserved category (SC, BC, ESM, GEN, etc.)
9. Students who belong to minority community must mention their category (Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Persian, Christian, Buddhist, etc.)
